April budget beauty favourites

I´m back! And as I´ve been away for a while I´ll keep you updated with my beauty favourites from the last month. First up this lovely candy pastel pink nail varnish from Kiko in shade 376, just 2.50 euros. I´ve got so many bright nail varnishes in coral, mint, turquoise and fuschia that I thought why not try a softer colour. It´s super girly and combines with my spring wardrobe really well. So far I´ve resisted all the Essie hype, the colours look gorgeous but way too pricey for a nail varnish. 

Ya estoy de vuelta! Y como he estado fuera por un tiempo voy a estar al día de mis favoritos belleza del último mes. En primer lugar este dulce encantadora pastel esmalte de uñas de color rosa de Kiko en la sombra 376, a sólo € 2,50. Tengo tantas pinta uñas en colores fuertes como coral, menta, turquesa y fucsia que pensé ¿por qué no intentar un color más suave. Es súper femenina y combina con mi armario de primavera muy bien. Hasta ahora me he resistido a todo el bombo de Essie, los colores se ven preciosas, pero es demasiado caro para un simple pinta uñas...de momento.

I´ve also been loving more budget cosmetics as I had a bit of a haul last month back in the UK. In superdrug I picked up these two cream blushes from Make Up Forever (MUA) for just 2 pounds each! Bargain! They are very easy to blend and pretty colours that give a ´pop´ colour and leave you looking healthy, with dewy cheeks rather than a cakey, powdery look. I chose a bright cool toned pink called Bittersweet, and a corally peach called Dolly. MUA is available at Superdrug.

También he sido amante de más cosméticos presupuesto ya que tenía un poco de un tirón el mes pasado en el Reino Unido. En Superdrug cogí estos dos rubores crema de Make Up Forever (MUA) por sólo 2 libras cada uno! Ganga! Son muy fáciles de mezcla y los colores que dan las mejillas un aspecto jugoso y saludable. Elegí un tono rosa brillante llamado Bittersweet, y un melocotón coral llamado Dolly. MUA está disponible en tiendas de maquillaje online.

Another April favourite is my huge bronzer from Spanish supermarket Mercadona´s Deliplus range. It reminds me of top end bronzers as it is subtle and without shimmer so perfect for contouring, and gives a warm glow without any dreaded orange effect! The staying power isn´t that amazing and it hasn´t toppled my all time favourite Laguna by Nars but at only 7 euros what more can you ask!

Otra abril favorito es mi gigante polvo de sol de la gama Deliplus del supermercado Mercadona. Me recuerdo de otros polvos del sol mas caros ya que es sutil y sin brillo tan perfecto para el contorno, y le da un brillo cálido y sin ningún efecto naranja! La capacidad de resistencia no es tan increíble y no ha derrocado a mi todo el tiempo Laguna favorito Nars pero a sólo 7 euros, ¡qué más se puede pedir!

Review: Dermalogica Gentle Cream Exfoliant

As we are given a week off work when the flamenco fair hits Seville every year, I took the opportunity to go home to the UK to see my family. I also got some chores done like getting my wedding dress fitted and getting some new glasses too. I´d seen this product on a review by Lisa Eldridge of her favourite skincare. She recommends not using a heavy, abrasive ´scrub´ to exfoliate you face, but use products that contain lactic acid and salicylic acid which manage to clean your pores deep down without you having to slough away at your skin. That sounded perfect so I bought this rather pricey product, Dermalogica´s Gentle Cream Exfoliant as I´m always trying to find things which are gentler on my skin whilst cleansing deeply. It´s simple to use, you smooth it onto a clean face in a light layer and wait for it to work for 10-15 minutes. I felt my face tingling at first but apparently this is perfectly normal and it stops soon after. Then you gently remove it with warm water. My face felt so smooth and bright after, so I´m continuing to use it twice a week to replace my scrub exfoliant products. It´s quite a luxurious product but it does the job!

Como tuve la semana libre por de la Feria de Sevilla como todos los años, tuve la oportunidad de volver a casa al Reino Unido para ver a mi familia. También tengo algunas tareas realizadas como conseguir mi vestido de novia y conseguir algunas nuevas gafas también. Había visto este producto en un video por Lisa Eldridge sobre el cuidado de la piel. Se recomienda no utilizar un 'scrub' abrasiva para exfoliar la cara, sino el uso de productos que contienen ácido láctico y ácido salicílico que logran limpiar los poros en el fondo sin tener que mudar lejos en su piel. Eso sonaba perfecta, así que compré este producto (bastante caro), Gentle Cream Exfoliant/ Suave Exfoliante Crema de Dermalogica como siempre estoy tratando de encontrar cosas que son suaves en la piel, mientras que la limpieza profunda. Es muy sencillo de utilizar, extender en una cara limpia en una capa ligera y esperar que funcione durante 10-15 minutos. Me sentí que mi cara pica un poquito al principio, pero al parecer esto es perfectamente normal y se detiene poco después. Luego de quitar suavemente con agua tibia. Mi cara se sentía tan suave y brillante después, así que estoy de continuar usándola dos veces a la semana para reemplazar mis productos exfoliantes matorrales. Es todo un producto de lujo, pero hace el trabajo super bien!

Review: Cleansing Oil

This is a star product that I´m annoyed I hadn´t discovered earlier. I had been using gentle cleansing milk or cleansing lotion for years til I read up online about what really does melt away make up and grime on your skin whilst being gentle and keeping it silky soft, oils! Oils are big news recently, and it appears they dont just moisturise but also cleanse, in fact some people say they are the new superhero of cleansers! So, a lot of the cleansing oils on the market are high end (Shu Uemura, SK II, Origins, Philosophy) products but Mercadona´s Deliplus range have brought out theirs, 24K Gold Progress Aceite Desmaquillante, and it costs around 5 euros for a nice big 240ml bottle.  I apologise if you don´t live in Spain and can´t get hold of this particular product but I bet there are some decent drug-store cleansing oils that do the same job as this one. You slather it on to your face at the end of the day and gently massage it in with fingertips and it will sofly melt away your full face of make up. Then you rinse it off with warm water and follow up with a toner or a micellar water product like Dioderma´s Sensibio H20. These two steps will leave your skin squeaky clean, deep cleansed and fresh without blocking pores. Have you tried cleansing oils? Please share your experiences, which product have you tried?

Este es un producto estrella que estoy molesta que no habia descubierto antes. Yo había estado utilizando leche limpiadora suave o una loción limpiadora durante años hasta que leí online de lo que realmente se quita maquillaje y la suciedad en la piel, al mismo tiempo cuida  y mantenerla suave la piel como la seda, pues... aceites! Los aceites son una gran noticia últimamente  y parece que no lo hacen sólo hidrata, sino también limpiar, de hecho, algunas personas dicen que son el nuevo superhéroe de productos de limpieza! Por lo tanto, muchos de los aceites de limpieza en el mercado son productos de gama alta (Shu Uemura, SK II, Origins, Philosophy) pero la gama Deliplus de Mercadona han sacado su version, 24K Gold Progress Aceite Desmaquillante, y cuesta unos 5 euros. Pido disculpas si usted no vive en España y no pueden apoderarse de este producto en particular, pero apuesto a que hay algunas tiendas decentes drogas aceites de limpieza que hacen el mismo trabajo como éste. Lo masaje en la cara al final del día y extenderlo suavemente con los dedos para que se derretirá todo el maquillaje en tu cara. A continuación, lávela con agua tibia y un seguimiento con un producto como agua micelar Sensibio Dioderma de H20. Estos dos pasos dejará su piel reluciente de limpio, limpio profundo y fresco sin engrasar. ¿Has probado los aceites de limpieza? Por favor, comparta sus experiencias, qué producto ha intentado?

Review: Chanel Poudre Universaille/ Loose Powder

Well if you can´t splash out on luxury products for your wedding when can you? This is a beautiful powder that sets your make up, gives your skin a silky smooth look and feel, and leaves you shine free all day. You have to apply it very lightly, just a sprinkling to set your face. It´s a surprisingly huge tub that with the classic Chanel black and gold packaging, and it looks gorgeous on your dressing table. I bought this in 30 Naturel- Translucent 2 as I found, despite being very fair, the lightest tone (Clair) was too chalky white for my skin tone. As this is a pretty expensive loose powder, it´s Chanel darling after all, I wouldn´t buy it for everyday use, but it you have a special event, why not? If you´re serious about your face powder, it will last ages and it´s a lovely finely-milled quality. I use a kabuki brush to apply it as I can blend it in better, if you prefer you can use the very soft puff applicator if you want to pat the powder onto your face instead. It´s a gorgeous product, weightless, natural and makes the skin look healthy. 

Bueno, si no se puede gastar en productos de lujo para su boda cuando se puede? Este es un hermoso polvo que fija el maquillaje, le da a su piel un aspecto suave y sedoso, y te deja sin brillo todo el día. Hay que aplicarlo muy a la ligera para evitar que se da a la piel un aspecto acartonado, aunque el acabado es mas bien satinado. El producto es sorprendentemente enorme que con el embalaje clásico de Chanel en negro y oro, se ve hermosa en su tocador! Compré esto en 30 Naturel-Translucent 2 como encontré el tono más claro, Clair, era demasiado blanca para mi tono de piel (aunque soy muy rubita). Como se trata de un polvo suelto bastante caro yo no lo compraría para el uso diario, pero si tienes un evento especial, ¿por qué no? Yo aplico con un broche de kabuki aunque viene con una esponjita para aplicarlo  muy suave y bonita. Es un producto magnífico, sin peso, natural y hace que la piel luzca saludable.

Review: Benefit´s High Beam

I´ve always applied this over my cheekbones or under my brow bone and thought it´s a nice subtle highlighter with a gorgeous pale pinky pearly sheen. The texture is light and liquidy and its so easy to blend. The little bottle retails at about £18.50 but it lasts for ages. I think I will get Sunbeam soon, its a ´golden bronze´ version perfect for the summer. I also really like Bobbi Brown´s shimmerbrick, a lovely luxurious highlighter I had in tone beige which I once dropped on the bathroom floor and the rest is history.  Anyway as Benefit´s High Beam is so satiny and liqudy I discovered the trick of mixing a little into my foundation before applying it to the face. I don´t know why I only just starting doing this, I suppose I had always though it might end up looking ridiculously shiny. I was wrong! This is great little trick, it gives the skin a healthy glow when it catches the light, mix a little in on the back of your hand and then ta-da: instant radiance! Have you tried it? 

Siempre me he aplicado este sobre los pómulos o debajo de la cejas y pensaba que era un marcador bonito que tiene una hermoso brillo rosado nacarado. La textura es liquido y  ligero, y es tan fácil aplicar y extender. La botella dura mucho tiempo. Lo quiero comprarme Sunbeam también  es un tono dorado ´golden bronze´ perfecto por los meses de verano.También me gustan mucho los shimmerbrick de Bobbi Brown, son iluminadores preciosos de lujo, de lo cual yo tenia en tono Beige y una vez me ha caído en el suelo del baño y el resto es historia. Bueno he tenido mas suerte con High Beam de Benefit, y últimamente he descubierto el truco de mezclar un poco con el base de maquillaje en liquido. Yo no sé por qué sólo acaba de empezar haciendo esto, supongo que siempre imaginaba que podría dar aspecto de cara demasiado brillante y ridículo. Pero que va! Solo hay que mezclar una poquito con el base maquillaje, aplicarlo a la cara y toma! Este pequeño truco es genial, que da a la piel un brillo saludable cuando se capta la luz. ¿Lo has probado?

Review: Estee Lauder doublewear foundation and concealer

After loving my free sample of this foundation I pounced on it when it was on offer in a Spanish cosmetics store recently (see here). It´s a very special, super long-lasting foundation that gives me a flawless and even complexion. I think it has become my new favourite. Thinking about foundations for my wedding, I had tested Guerlain´s Parure Extreme, Make Up Forever´s HD Foundation and Revlon´s Colorstay Foundation, but this is the one that outperformed them all. I had to buy the concealer too which made my purchase notably more expensive but wow, its worth it. I got it in the lightest tone to use over imperfections and under my eyes. It´s creamy and give full coverage. The doublewear range from Estee Lauder is worth all the hype. Although I use Bourjois´s Healthy Mix or Lilylolo´s mineral foundation during weekdays, this product is ideal for going out at the weekend or special occasions, you could wear it every day but I think for me I prefer something lighter. So to conclude, its up there with the best foundations, I´d give it an A*. The only thing is I need to see how it photographs as it has a SPF10, if I see that my face has a white cast on photos I´m afraid I´m back to square one. Please share your thoughts, what do you think the perfect foundation is?

Después de enamorarme a mi muestra gratis de esta base me abalancé sobre él cuando estaba en oferta en la tienda Aromas de cosméticos españoles recientemente. Es un base de maquillaje muy especial, super duradero que me da un cutis perfecto y uniforme. Creo que se ha convertido en mi nuevo favorito. Pensando en bases de mi boda, yo había probado Parure Extreme de Guerlain , Make Up Forever HD y el base de Revlon ColorStay, pero esta es la que superó a todos. Tuve que comprar el corrector también, lo cual hizo que mi compra notablemente más caro, pero sin duda vale la pena. Lo tengo en el tono más claro de usar para tapar las imperfecciones y aplicar por el contorno de los ojos. Es cremoso y da una cobertura total. La gama doublewear de Estee Lauder se merece su buena fama. Aunque yo uso Bourjois Healthy Mix o el base Lilylolo de mineral durante los días de semana, este producto es ideal para salir los fines de semana o en ocasiones especiales, se podría usar todos los días, pero creo que para mí, prefiero algo más ligero día a día  Así que para concluir, su altura de los mejores bases, que le daría una nota de 10. Lo único es que tengo que ver cómo se retrata como tiene un SPF10, si veo que mi cara tiene un tono blanco en las fotos, temo que estoy de vuelta al punto de partida. Review: Daniel Sandler Watercolour blush

I trust Lisa Elridge a lot, so much that I bought this blush without even seeing it or trying it first, this or any Daniel Sandler product. Lisa recommends it in her video for ´summer rose´ bridal look. It contains silicones so it glides on and promises great lasting power. I bought it in the shade cherub which is a universally flattering soft rose tone that gives a pop of colour. When the bottle came I saw that it needs a good shake before you use it, as it separates a little. It´s quite watery so you can apply with a brush or stroke it on the apples of your cheeks with fingers like I do. The colour is pretty, its similiar in texture and tone to Benefit´s Posie Tint, and it certainly lasts all day providing your skin isn´t too oily. I think I will go ahead and use this on my wedding day with care taken to blend it in properly as its more difficult to do so than with a blush powder. I do like the way powder blushes sit on the skin though for a more matte look so I prefer to use a bit of Benefit´s Dandelion on top. Meanwhile I´m thinking of using this product for the beach to see if it really is water-proof and budge-proof. Have you ever tried any Daniel Sandler products? What do you think of liquid blushers?

Confío en Lisa Elridge mucho, tanto que me he comprado este colorete sin ni siquiera verlo o probarlo primero, este o cualquier otro producto de Daniel Sandler. Lisa se ​​lo recomienda en su video para novias 'rosa de verano´. Contiene siliconas por lo que se desliza y promete gran poder duradero. Lo compré en la sombra ´cherub´ o querubín que es un tono rosa suave universalmente halagador que le da un toque de color. If it ain´t broke don´t fix it

Mercadona is pretty great. It´s a Spanish supermarket that does a good line of cosmetics (Deliplus) and they perform well and are cheap as chips.I picked up today their oil cleanser Gold Progress, their cleansing micelar water, a purple shampoo for highlighted hair, a facial fake tan and an eyelid primer all for less than 20 euros! Reviews coming soon. Do you have any supermarket favourites? 

Ole por Mercadona. Su linea de Deliplus da buen gusto, sus productos en general hace buen trabajo y sigue baratisimo de precio! Hoy me compre su Gold Progress Aceite Desmaquillante, Agua Limpiadora Micelar, Champu violeta que matiza las mechas, Crema Autobronceador Facial y su Prebase Parpados. Todo por menos que 20 euros! Mas adelante escribo reviews. ¿Tienes favoritos de la linea de Deliplus?

Review: Guerlain Meteorite Pearls Teint Rose

Swoon. Love them. Such a luxurious and ridiculously girly addition to anyone´s make up bag. They are pink, white, yellow, green and lavender balls. Each colour beautifies the complexion in a certain way, for example the pink evens out skintone and the green reduces redness. They are so easy to apply, its all about the swirling. You swirl a brush over them and then swirl over your face, the effect is instant radiance and a delicate glow to your complexion. Remember that it isn´t a highlighting powder,  its a very subtle finishing powder that leaves the skin satiny smooth and luminous, with tiny sparkly particles. I can´t sing it´s praises enough! It also looks gorgeous and glamourous on your dressing table. Oh and the lavender smell is lov-er-ly!  Treat yourself! There are three tones, including Teinte Beige and Teinte Doree for slightly more golden hues. I think for fair skins Teint Rose is perfect. 

Dios, estoy enamorada. Es una adición de mi coleccion de maquillaje lujoso y ridículamente femenina. Son bolitas de color rosa, blanco, amarillo, verde y lavanda. Cada color embellece el cutis de una manera determinada, por ejemplo la rosa iguala tono de piel y el verde reduce el enrojecimiento. Son tan fáciles de aplicar, es todo acerca de la arremolinada. Usted remolino un pincel sobre ellos y luego remolino en la cara, el efecto es instantáneo resplandor y un brillo delicado. Recuerde que no es un relieve en polvo, es un polvo muy sutil acabado satinado que deja la piel suave y luminosa, y tiene purpurina finísimo. No puedo cantar alabanzas lo suficiente! También se ve hermosa y glamorosa en su tocador. Ah, y el olor de la lavanda que tiene es tan lindo! Date un capricho! Hay tres tonos, incluyendo Teinte Beige y Doree Teinte para tonos un poco más de oro. Creo que para pieles claras Teint Rose es perfecto.

Review: Lóreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil

In the beauty world it seems like lately oil is everything. We dab it into our faces before we sleep, we aply it over our bodies after showering and now we´re adding to our hair in a quest for healthy hair. Im already a big fan of Khiels Midnight Recovery which I reviewed here, I talked about how I love the feeling of the oils seeping into my skin, well surely they could work their magic into my hair too. I picked up this quite new product from Loreal Elvive, Extraordinary Oil. At 10 euros in a large, quite elegant looking 100ml glass bottle it seemed a good deal. It contains a blend of 6 precious flower extracts, and promises to give hair a glowing shine, make it feel intensely nourished, and flow with a silky softness.  

En el mundo de la belleza últimamente parece que el aceite es todo. Estamos aplicándolo a la cara antes de dormir, extendiendolo por el cuerpo después de salir de la ducha, y ahora poniéndolo en el pelo para conseguir una melena sana. Ya soy gran fan de Midnight Recovery de Khiels, reviewed aqui. Hable sobre como me encanta sentir los aceites absorbiendo en la piel, pues seguramente tienen efecto en el pelo también. Me compre este nuevo producto de Loreal Elvive, Aceite Extraordinario Oleo. Contiene 6 aceites de flores preciosas, y dice es un ´tratamiento sublimador del cabello´ dando ´vitalidad produgiosa, cabello sedoso´ y un ´toque luminoso´.

I began using the oil in the same way as I would with a serum or finishing producut, rubbing it over the ends when I had dried my hair, although you can also use it before blow-drying as a protective treatment. It does give the promised shine, my hear gleamed in the light without looking greasy. I also love the smell, it has a floral perfumey scent that I think isn´t overwhelming. Another way you can use it is as a pre-wash treatment, I found this made my hair silkier and more manageable. I hope it´s not just the silicones (yes, it does contain them..) I hope its penetrating my hair and giving a bit of deep hydration, much needed after years of highlights and addictive GHD use! I will be able to tell after months of use, so will keep you updated. The other similiar products I would like to to try in the future, and that dont contain those pesky silicones, are Khiels Magic Elixir and Kerastase Elixir Ultime. But then again, they are much pricier so I will wait and see if this one can give me healthier, stronger hair with long term use, but for the moment I´m a happy bunny as this product makes my hair glossy, smooth and smelling great.  Have you tried it, or any similar product?

Comencé a usar el aceite de la misma manera como lo haría con un producto serum, frotándola sobre los puntos cuando me había secado el pelo, aunque también se puede usar antes de secarlo como tratamiento protector. Se da el brillo prometido, el pelo brilla a la luz sin tener aspecto grasiento. También me encanta como huele, tiene un olor floral sutil. Bueno, otra manera de utilizarlo es como un tratamiento de prelavado, encontré esto hizo que mi pelo más sedoso y manejable. Espero que no se trata sólo de las siliconas (sí, sí contiene ellas ..) Espero que también esta penetrando el pelo y dando un poco de hidratación profunda, muy necesario después de años de mechitas y el uso de GHD adictivo! Solo os puedo confirmar después de mas meses de uso, por lo que os mantendremos informados. Los otros productos semejantes que me gustaría probar en el futuro, y eso que no contiene los malditos siliconas, son Khiels Magic Elixir y Elixir Ultime de Kerastase. Pero, son bastante más caros para el bolsillo, así que esperaremos a ver si esto de Loreal me puede dar  cabello más saludable y fuerte con el uso a largo plazo, pero por el momento estoy contentísima ya que este producto hace que mi cabello este brillante y suave y huele divina. Dime, ¿lo has probado, o un producto similar?

Beauty wish list

I love all the smoky eyes and plum and berry lips you can wear in winter but as soon as spring is around the colour I start thinking about golden skin, coral blushes and pinky lip gloss. I fancy some hair tongs too with a thicker barrel for making looser waves. Here are just few things on my list!

Me encanta el maquillaje de invierno, ojos ahumados y labios con colores vino o ciruela, pero en cuanto siento las primeras rayas del sol de primavera empiezo a pensar en pile dorada, coloretes en color coral y brillo de labios en tonos rosas. I like the idea of using a new perfume on your wedding day so that every time you wear it after it brings back memories of your special day. I´ve been trawling perfume shops spritzing and spraying, asking for samples, and then consequently getting home and forgetting which one was which. So after considering the ubiquitous and chic Miss Dior and Chloe,  in the end I decided to go back to one I´ve always liked and always wished I had. It´s the EDP For Her by Narciso Rodriguez, a simple pink bottle and long lasting and 
very feminine fragrance. This is what Sephora says:

Me encanta el idea de llevarse un perfume nuevo en el día de tu boda para que después cuando lo llevas vas recordando de tu día especial. Review: Nars Laguna, shortcut to sunkissed

Bronzers are key for a healthy wash of colour on your face. I´m very fair especially in the winter months and I like dusting bronzer along my cheekbones, nose, chin and forehead, or as they say where the sun naturally tans your face. As lovely as pale skin can be, I think a golden glow makes you look healthier. I had previously used Benefit´s Hoola which I actually really liked until I found something even more natural and flattering, Nar´s Laguna. It´s hard to go wrong with this bronzer if you have a good kubuki brush, there´s no hint of orange and the powder is lovely quality and finely milled, with only a hint of shimmer. It´s perfect for fairv to medium skin tones (Nars do three and this is the lightest). The only bad point would be the price, it´s a bit steep but honestly it´s worth it. It´s beautiful to contour your face with, its smoothes over pores and lasts perfectly for hours. Have you tried it?

Los polvos autobronceadores son perfectos para dar un aspecto sano y luminoso. Soy bastante pálida de piel sobre todo durante los meses de invierno y me gusta aplicar este producto ligeramente sobre mis pómulos, nariz, barbilla y frente. Aunque el cutis blanco puede ser precioso, un brillo dorado en la piel es tan bonito y pareces mas sana en un instante.  Antes usaba Hoola de Benefit lo que me gustó mucho hasta que descubrí Laguna de Nars, el más claro de los tres que tiene esa marca. Con una buena brocha kabuki es difícil fallar con este producto, tiene alta calidad y es un polvo muy fino. Da un tono precioso y natural, sin subtono anaranjado. También tiene reflejos sutiles, es perfecto para contornear y dura intacto por horas, no me puedo quejar. Lo malo es que es un poco caro, pero para mi lo vale. ¿Lo habeis probado?

Review: Sesderma Vit-C Serum and Azelac Serum

When I turned thirty I deliberated about which antioxidant serum to buy. I´ve been using serums at night for last few years whenever I felt I needed extra hydration or a bit of extra treatment. But now I think I´m going to make an effort to use serum twice a day, under my sun protection in the mornings and before my moisturiser at night. I heard good reviews about the C-Vit day serum by Sesderma which you can find in pharmacies rather than beauty counters. I found it on offer with a night serum called Azelac RU which is a despigmentate serum helping prevent and fade age spots, freckles etc.

Hace un mes cuando cumple treinta años he empezado a considerar cual serum antioxidante comprarme. Por los utlimos dos años he estado usando serums por la noche por un poco mas de hidratacion pero ahora voy a hacer un efuerzo a usar un serum dos veces el dia, debajo el protector de sol por las mañanas y antes una crema hidrante antes que ir la cama. Escuche buena critica sobre el serum de dia C-Vit de Sesderma, lo cual se encuentra en farmacias. Lo vi de oferta en una caja con otra serum de noche que se llama Azelac, lo que trata manchas del sol, pecas etc. 

The C-Vit serum contains liposomas of vitamin C, low density hyaluron acid liposome, pantenol liposome, and white mulberry extract. So the little bottle packs in a lot! Apparently it: 

• Contains vitamin C in its most stable form, providing facial luminosity and vitality.

El serum de C-Vit contiene lipsomas de vitamina C, de acido hialuronico, pantenol, extracto de morera, y peptidos mimeticos. Su propiedades por lo visto son:

• Prevención y tratamiento del fotoenvejecimiento cutáneo.

I´ve noticed my skin looking brighter and feeling firmer with using these two serums, I may well repurchase when they run out unless I get tempted to try Clarin´s new Double Serum. It´s nice to try out new products, and Sesderma, along with Avene, la Roche Posay, Bioderma..., has a very solid and professional reputation for having high-quality, effective products with fuss-free packaging. The only bad point for me, if I´m bring super picky, is that the serums are quite hard to spread, they´re not runny liquidy types of serum but they sink in quickly and I feel they give my skin a lifting, plumping effect. I´m overall very impressed with these serums. 

Yo me note la piel parece mas luminosa y firme con uso de los dos serums desde la primera vez que los puse, y estoy contenta con los resultados que me dan. Seguramente los re-compro, al menos que no me tienta el nuevo de Clarins (Double Serum). Me encanta probar nuevos productos, y Sesderma, igual que Avene, la Roche Posay, Bioderma..., tiene una fama muy buena y profesional por tener productos eficaces de alta calidad. Lo único malo para mi de que estos serums como no son tan aguosos o líquidos no un poquito difícil fundir , pero se absorban rápidos y me siento que da mi piel un ´lifting´ o efecto tensor. En fin, estoy impresionada con los serums.

Review: Skin 79 Vital BB cream SPF 50+ ´hot orange´

I´ve tried the pink one, the gold one, and now finally the orange one. They must have improved the formula or the texture as it feels lighter, smoother and less... grey. And the best thing of all, its got SPF50+ and I do love my high SPFs. 

He probado el rosa, el dorado, y ahora por fin el de bote naranja. Han mejorado la formula o algo por que la textura para mi es mas ligera, mas suave y el tono es menos...gris. Pero lo mejor es que tiene SPF50+ y es que a mi me encantan productos con alta protección solar.

I bought my first BB cream a few years ago through a trusted seller on Ebay. I tried the´hot pink ´ Super Plus+ Triple Function from Skin79, which has SPF 25. It´s OK, quite thick and maybe slightly greasy, at least for my liking as I have combination skin. I found I had to use some mineral make up over the top to keep my skin matte. BB creams give a light coverage similiar to a tinted moisturiser, I think you can wear them over your moisturiser and instead of foundation and primer if you have good skin, or with a bit of pressed powder. I always wear a high SPF all year around, I live in southern Spain so my complexion needs it. When I saw that Skin79 had brought out a new BB cream with SPF50+ I read some reviews online, mostly mixed, and decided to risk it.   

Compre mi primera BB cream online por ebay por una vendedora de fiar. Probé el rosa de SKin79, el Super Plus+ Triple Function me estaba bien, pero un poco grasienta para mi piel combinación, tenia que poner maquillaje mineral sobre ello para tener la piel matte. Para las personas que tiene la piel joven o sin defectos los BB creams son perfectos  por que tiene algo de color pero también muchos propiedades buenos. Para mi me gustan por sus protecciones solares. Cuando vi que Skin79 ha sacado uno con SPF50+ leí unas criticas, unos buenos y otros no tantos, pero decidí a arriesgarlo.

This is my favourite, it´s light and blends in well with a less of a ´mask´ like effect than the pink or gold products from Skin79. It doesn´t have the dull greyish tinge and looks brighter on. It also keeps my skin matte. Instant success! If you´re in doubt about BB creams always ask for a sample first. There are so many on the market and it can be quite overwhelming. It also depends on what you´re looking for. For me for living in Spain I want sun protection and a light texture. Just when I´ve found my ideal BB cream, they´ve started bringing out CC creams! What do you think of  the BB ´boom´? 

Este es mi favorito de Skin79. Es mas fácil de aplicar y no da efecto ´mascarilla´ tanto como los otros BB de Skin79. No tiene el subtono gris como los dos otros, me gusta mucho mas, da mas luminosidad y al mismo tiempo mi piel mantiene mate por horas. ¡Un éxito  Si tienes dudas sobre cual comprarse, pedid unas muestras de su pagina web, por ebay o en tienda. Hay tantas cremas BB en el mercado ahora que se puede liarse. Todo depende en que buscas, en mi caso pido alta protección del sol por que vivo en España y tengo la cutis blanca. Bueno, ahora que han sacado los CC creams, ahora tendría que investigar. ¿Que piensas de los BB?

Review: Bourjois Healthy Mix

Yeah, yeah, I know everyone is blogging about this little foundation but I had to jump on the bandwagon! And I confirm, it is indeed quite lovely. Although very soon I will trying out the top dogs in foundation (Estee Lauder Double Wear, Chanel Pro Lumiere, Guerlain Parure Extreme) in my quest to find my perfect bridal make up, I wanted to try this out as an lighter everday foundation. I have fond memories of Bourjois´s Ten Hour Sleep Effect foundation which I used a few years ago, I think they make nice yellow based foundations which are so much more flattering than the pinky toned ones. Anyway this one promises 8-hour moisture, a flawless finish up to 16 hours and even antioxidants, which is a bonus. I bought it with a foundation brush which I was sort of persuaded into buying by a slightly pushy sales assistant. Anyway I have been ´painting´ it on with the brush for the last week and I´ve been very impressed with it. It´s light  in texture as its a ´gel´ foundation with medium coverage, no cakey or greasy feeling like I felt I had with Mabelline´s Satin Dream. I dust on a fine layer of LilyLolo mineral foundation just to seal it so I don´t get any unwanted shine. Happy made up face! I recommend it every day use if you´re after a budget product. Ya, ya lo se, todo el mundo esta haciendo posts sobre este maquillaje de Bourjois, por eso quería probarmelo! Y te lo confirmo, es bastante bueno! Aunque muy pronto voy a probar los productos de oro de los maquillajes (Estee Lauder Double Wear, Chanel Pro Lumiere, Guerlain Parure Extreme) en mi misión para encontrar el maquillaje de novia perfecto, quería probar un maquillaje mas ligero para todos los días  Usaba el ´Ten Hour Sleep Effect´ de Bourjois hace años me recuerdo que me gusto mucho. Bourjois hace los maquillajes de subtonos amarillos que son mucho mas favorecedores que los que están tirando a rosita. Bueno, este maquillaje promete hidratar la cara por ocho horas, dar un afecto luminoso por hasta 16 horas y encima que contiene antioxidantes (esa palabra sugiere mucho!). Hace poco me compre una brocha de maquillaje así que literalmente me pinto la cara con ello, pero me encanto usarlo y el aspecto que me da. Es ligero como un gel y da cobertura media, sin engrasar o tener efecto ´mascarilla´ que era por desgracia lo que me paso con Satin Dream de Mabelline. Uso una capa ligera de maquillaje mineral de Lilylolo para fijarlo y evitar brillos y estoy contenta! Es un buen maquillaje para todos los días si quieres algo barato. ¿Lo has probado?

This is a fun post for me to make, I´m going to indulge my fantasies a bit. Where do I even begin? I have been told I have expensive tastes, which I don´t think it necessarily true, but there are a few things that are way outta of my budget on my lust list. They are things I will one day buy, maybe, if I save harder and feel like I really deserve them, or better still if I get given them! Here´s to dreaming!
